This is Gisele Bundchen’s cover for the Spring issue of Muse Magazine. There are several covers, though, with models like Carolyn Murphy and Karen Elson featured as “The Modern Muses”. Gisele Bundchen’s is one of the most striking of all of the covers, though, and her photo shoot was released as well. So… Gisele Bundchen as some kind of bird. That was my first thought - she looks very bird-like on the cover. It’s her posture and the feathers, I think. She looks like she’s about swoop down and grab something in her mouth. The rest of the shoot is kind of cool though - I like the photo where it looks like her boobs have a sun visor. 

Just a note - neither Gisele Bundchen nor Tom Brady has responded to Bridget Moynahan’s remarks in More Magazine. I wasn’t really expecting Gisele Bundchen to say anything - at least, not until her next big magazine interview, which could be months from now. I should say this, though - Gisele Bundchen never goes after Bridget. She never says anything bad about Bridget or anything like that, to her credit. Gisele Bundchen just claims Bridget’s son as her own. I tend to take Gisele Bundchen as a passive-aggressive, but maybe she’s just clueless.

Gisele Bundchen Doesn't Hate Sunscreen

Her words were recently twisted and misunderstood, and now Gisele Bundchen is setting the record straight.

While promoting her skincare line Sejaa recently, the Victoria’s Secret model recently was quoted as saying, “I cannot put this poison on my skin. I do not use anything synthetic” when talking about certain products that contain SPF.

Taking that and running with it, reports quickly claimed that Bundchen said that she doesn’t wear sunscreen at all because it’s poison.

Her rep quickly attempted to clear the air by making this statement: “They misquoted her due to a language barrier. Gisele would never say not to use sunscreen because she has family members who have had skin cancer.”


The real story is that Gisele does use sunscreen – just not harsh formulations.

“When using sunscreens she selects ones that are free of parabens, oxybenzone, PABA, and retinyl palmitate,” says the rep. “She buys her sunscreen at Whole Foods, so she can find ones that are free of harsh chemicals.”

Gisele Bundchen is feeling the heat this afternoon. During a press conference for her new organic skincare line, the model said that she never uses sunscreen / sun tan lotion because it’s “poison”.

I cannot put this poison on my skin. I do not use anything synthetic.”

Funny because Gisele Bundchen took money to appear in Nivea’s skincare campaign a few years back. Guess the poison doesn’t hurt when you’re getting the big bucks to endorse it.

Cancer experts have spoken up about Gisele’s assumptions. Us Magazine reports:

“Sunscreen prevents damage to the skin and is of fundamental importance for the prevention of cancer. This is not any poison, when a public person makes a statement like this, it creates confusion.”

I’m sure Gisele Bundchen just meant that she likes to use an organic line instead of the mainstream brands, but that’s not how it’s being spun.
